Privacy Policy
Last updated June 2026. This page explains, in plain language, what Barograph does and does not collect.
What we collect
Barograph is a reading site. If you subscribe to the update note, we store the email address you provide and the date you subscribed. We do not require an account to read the site or the Glossary and FAQ pages.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical information automatically, such as approximate access times and browser type, for security and performance purposes. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles.
What we do not collect
- We do not ask visitors to submit personal weather readings tied to an identity.
- We do not sell or rent any information to third parties.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
The Raingauge Log app
Log entries you create in Raingauge Log (readings, notes, dates) are stored so the app can show you your own history and season view. This data is used only to provide the logging feature itself, not for any other purpose.
Cookies
We use minimal, functional storage (such as remembering that you already subscribed to the update note) and do not use cookies for cross-site advertising tracking.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from the update note at any time using the link in any message we send, or by emailing us. You can request that we delete an email address we hold for you.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top of this page.
